A murder inside the Louvre and clues in Da Vinci paintings lead to the discovery of a religious mystery protected by a secret society for two thousand years.
Because of some controversial interpretations and factual inaccuracies of Christian history in both the book and movie, they were criticised by the Roman Catholic Church. Some bishops urged members to boycott the film.
